Single Platform for Product Tracking Addresses Converging Business Imperatives
GenuOne, the leading provider of product tracking software for visibility management today announced its authentication and tracking solution, TraceGuard for Life Sciences. TraceGuard provides the software infrastructure to address multiple industry imperatives on a single platform. This new version of TraceGuard has been specifically designed to address the unique requirements of the industry, including 21CFRPart11 and computer system validation.
With the recent emergence of electronic pedigree laws, retail RFID compliance and costly reverse logistics issues, the Life Sciences industry is looking for a unified solution to enable visibility throughout the supply chain. Rather than implementing multiple point applications, such as RFID middleware along with narrow pedigree applications that cannot be integrated or shared across the enterprise, companies can deploy TraceGuard on an enterprise-wide scale.

The TraceGuard RFID Infrastructure consists of a distributed, scalable engine designed to accomplish real-time data collection and processing.

It is device agnostic and supports a heterogeneous environment of RFID technologies, smart barcodes, covert inks and other tagging methods. It integrates with existing enterprise systems (ERP, WMS), in which companies have already invested, that may not be equipped to handle such large volumes of data.
