Abra HR for MAS 90 Link Version 4.0 Allows SMBs to Take Advantage of Tightly Integrated HR/Payroll Solution

St. Petersburg, Fla. - November 18, 2003 - Best Software today announced general availability of Abra HR for MAS 90 Link version 4.0, which features tighter integration, simplified set-up processes and tools, and a new Windows XP user interface. The addition of these features to the Abra HR for MAS 90 Link supports the company's strategy of allowing for easy integration of its accounting, human resources and CRM product offerings.

MAS 90 and MAS 200 are two market-leading accounting packages offered by Best Software, and Abra HR is part of Abra Suite, the company's premier mid-market HRMS application. The latest version of the Abra HR for MAS 90 link, which works with both MAS 90 and MAS 200 Payroll, allows small and mid-sized businesses to take advantage of a truly integrated HR/payroll solution, streamlining workflow and eliminating double-entry of common information.

· Set-up and maintenance of MAS 90/200 Payroll information in Abra HR. Employee information required by MAS 90/200 Payroll, such as pay rate and frequency, tax withholding and marital status, can be entered and maintained in Abra HR, along with all other non-payroll employee information. Workflow is streamlined and double-entry of common information is eliminated.

· Transfer of employee information from Abra HR to MAS 90/200 Payroll. Information about new employees and changes made to existing employee data in Abra HR transfers seamlessly to MAS 90/200 Payroll, ensuring up-to-date and accurate information.

· Integrated Benefits Premiums and Payroll Deductions. Changes in employee benefit premiums in Abra HR are automatically linked to employee deductions in MAS 90/200 Payroll to ensure the correct amounts are deducted from employee paychecks.

· Integrated Attendance Management. When time-off is entered in MAS 90/200Payroll, Abra Attendance collects the detailed absence transactions for each employee for detailed management and analysis of attendance patterns.

· Automatic Abra HR employee initial load. Abra HR is automatically populated with employee data from MAS 90/200 Payroll when Abra HR is installed to an existing customer's MAS 90/200 system.
