SANTA CLARA, Calif. Dec 16, 2002 - Emagia Corporation, the cash flow management software company, today announces the release of Emagia Collaborative Finance Suite 3.0, the latest version of its industry-leading cash flow management software package. Among the new features of Collaborative Finance Suite 3.0 is a groundbreaking cash flow analytics module for finance executives that tracks more than 30 key performance indicators (KPIs).

Emagia Collaborative Finance Suite 3.0 gives enterprises the ability to formulate, monitor, and execute collections strategy against corporate objectives. It provides a comprehensive invoice-to-cash solution for managing cash inflow, including cash forecasting, portfolio management, collections management, deductions management and online customer financials service.

"Working capital analytics can provide business intelligence and visibility into enterprise working capital and enable an organization to materially improve its cash flow position," says John Van Decker, Senior Program Director, META Group. "These tools are required components of financial business performance management (BPM) and will eventually become an important pillar of enterprise BPM initiatives."

The new cash flow analytics module allows CFOs and other finance executives to utilize a business intelligence dashboard to set KPIs for cash flow from receivables and monitor trends in real-time. More than 30 pre-defined KPIs are available, including days sales outstanding (DSO), cash conversion cycle, and collector efficiency index.

Collaborative Finance Suite 3.0 also provides in-depth, real-time analysis and multi-dimensional reporting capabilities. There are more than 150 drill-down reports available across 15 dimensions that can give a detailed view of collections and deductions performance. With this powerful analytics tool at their fingertips, finance executives not only can gather financial data in real time, but they can analyze that information more quickly than ever before and make more educated decisions.

"Operating cash flow is an important indicator of company performance and receivables management plays a key role," says Veena Gundavelli, Emagia president and CEO. "With our cash flow analytics module, we now provide finance executives with the visibility to manage receivables performance in a proactive manner. Emagia is the only vendor that provides both a strategic performance management solution for finance executives as well as a best-of-breed operational efficiency solution for A/R departments."
