Software monitors and controls viscosity sensors.

Press Release Summary:

Norcross Invisible Controller operates with any PLC that has touch-screen interface, and controls up to 10 stations using company's viscosity sensors. Eliminating need for multiple controllers, it provides real-time trend plots for each station, data logging up to 7 days, and permits set-point and other viscosity parameter adjustments on-the-fly. Custom installed and fully integrated into user's system, software simplifies operator interface and creates single report for system.

Original Press Release:

Viscosity Control Software Eliminates Need for Multiple PLC Controllers

New software which lets users who already have a PLC, with a touch-screen interface, use it to control the full range of Norcross viscosity sensors is being introduced by Norcross Corporation of Newton, Massachusetts.

The Norcross Invisible Controller is software which operates with any PLC that has a touch-screen interface, to provide full monitoring and control of up to 10 stations utilizing Norcross viscosity sensors. Eliminating the need for multiple controllers, this viscosity control software can provide trend plots in real-time for each station, data logging up to seven days, and permits set-point and other viscosity parameter adjustments on-the-fly.

Custom installed and fully integrated into a user's system, the Norcross Invisible Controller software simplifies the operator interface and creates a single report for the entire system. It is compatible with popular PLCs such as Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Rockwell, and Siemens. Typical applica-tions include printing inks, chemicals, coatings, lacquers, and adhesives.

The Norcross Invisible Controller is offered to users of Norcross viscosity sensors to save them the expense of purchasing a duplicate PLC.
