September 4, 2002, Rockville, MD - IDEAL announces Conference on Demand, a secure, customized virtual conference room designed for a single online meeting or presentation. This stand-alone module in IDEAL's IntraNETIX suite of products enables large format collaboration online. IDEAL sets up the room for the user, scans their drawings, loads the drawings into the room and sends out meeting invitations for the user via email. All the conference participants do is log in to the meeting.
Conference on Demand is targeted to contractors and subcontractors, facilities managers, architects, engineers, reprographers and GIS. Smaller companies, in particular, find the convenience of Conference on Demand a benefit. It cuts the costs and demands for travel, enables live dialog, real-time document sharing and co-editing. Users can view applications and share desktops.
