FREMONT, Calif. (Sept. 29, 2003) - Force Computers, a Solectron company and a leader in embedded computing, today announced the enhancement of its StackWare® telecom protocol software with the addition of a distributed MTP3 (DMTP3) layer to the Signaling System No. 7 (SS7) stack. Along with an optional SS7 configuration and monitoring tool - StackWare Manager - available to tailor SS7 layers for use with Force's PowerQUICC II based telecom PCI mezzanine card (PMC) controllers and SS7 server blades, DMTP3 offers fault tolerance, high reliability and scalable performance.
