Overview

ENOVIA V5.12 extends key Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) business processes in the automotive, aerospace, and shipbuilding industries through improvements in design collaboration, CATIA integration, supply chain data exchange, and overall system deployability.

ENOVIA V5.12:

Delivers innovative collaboration solutions by introducing a new Instant Collaboration product and announcing support for WebSphere® Portal and WebSphere Application Server products

Brings a new level of deployability for its decision support solution with the availability of ENOVIA 3d com as a set of Web components

Improves overall system deployability through new Microsoft(TM) Windows(TM) support for the LifeCycle Application (LCA) server, batch transfer capabilities for ENOVIAVPM multi-site implementations, and the support of CATIA V5 advanced geometry loading

In addition, business process automation is reinforced with a more intelligent workflow engine that now supports rules-based activity generation and late workflow sub-process definition.

Supply chain collaboration scenarios are extended and made easier to use with a new SMARTEAM-BOM1 integration inside ENOVIAVPM and new synchronous validation during STEP data import for ENOVIA LCA.
