divine will be announcing tomorrow divine OnTrack(tm) 5.0, a modular suite of software applications that schedule, dispatch, track, monitor and control information on the factory floor. It coordinates material, equipment and human resources to optimize productivity across all manufacturing activities, while extending real-time visibility to production-level information beyond shop-floor management to executives and trading partners.
divine OnTrack is a proven production management software system, which divine added through its acquisition of Real World Technology, Inc. in February 2002. divine OnTrack 5.0 builds on the earlier version of OnTrack's core production management and tracking capabilities with even greater functionality. These new and enhanced features include one-click deployment, a fully-configurable user interface, expanded verification functionality, event-based monitoring, and Web-based reporting. Pioneer-Standard Electronics, a $2.3 billion broad-line distributor of electronic components and computer systems, maintains one of the industry's most sophisticated systems integration value-add centers: Systems Integration and Value Added Center (SIVAC), a fully automated, state-of-the-art build-and-distribute facility designed to streamline hardware setup, software loading and configuration, system testing and burn-in, among other services. OnTrack 5.0 drives the SIVAC facility operations, coordinating and tracking each step of production from order receipt to product shipment. The real-time, Web-based reporting from OnTrack also enables Pioneer-Standard to better service customers while maximizing the return received from the SIVAC operation. divine OnTrack consists of the following components:
