Computershare Releases New Version of World Records Application with Global Update Capabilities

Additional data categories provide greater reporting flexibility

SHELTON, Conn., July 26 - Computershare announced today the release of World Records® application, Version 6.3. A key new feature of Version 6.3 will allow administrators to globally update director and officer information to re-elect or resign board positions throughout a company's entities.

World Records® software is used by staff in corporate secretary and general counsel offices in hundreds of companies worldwide to efficiently manage corporate entity records and facilitate internal controls for subsidiary governance. In addition to new functions in the area of managing director and officer information, the latest release has several enhancements to its Advanced Reporting Module including new data categories on which to filter information for reporting.

Producing reports for company executives, colleagues or external auditors is a critical part of managing entity records for subsidiary governance. The new data categories extend the reporting capabilities to include: address information, signing authority, notes, committee data, and tax information. Users can now produce a report that shows the members of a committee, their addresses, the positions they hold on the committee and when they were appointed.

World Records® 6.3 also features new functionality that allows for the set up of "if/then" and "if/else" conditional formats and the creation of director-title tags and repeat tags to clone text blocks to save time. The application's current templates for standard forms such as consents, resignations, and re-elections reduce the number of documents an administrator must maintain and allow for easy replacement of variable information. The enhancements in this new release add to the templates' current functionality.

"For global organizations with a few or thousands of subsidiaries worldwide, it can take days or even weeks to go through each entity to re- elect or resign officers and directors or change their titles throughout an organization. Being able to update that information globally throughout an organization can be a huge time saver," says Mark Selinger, Managing Director of Computershare World Records. "Our clients also told us how important it is to have flexible reporting options. The latest enhancements to the Advanced Reporting module are a direct result of valuable feedback from several of our clients," he added.
