AdRem Software Enhances Network Monitoring Experience Updating its NetCrunch to Version 3.1

NEW YORK, NY - November 30, 2004 - AdRem Software, provider of network management solutions, announced that it has shipped the updated version 3.1 of its flagship AdRem NetCrunch solution for policy-based monitoring, alerting, problem resolution and reporting in cross-platform networks. The new version further enhances administrators' ability to proactively monitor network infrastructures. NetCrunch was designed for small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) that seek to optimize their IT environments fully leveraging their limited resources, budget and headcount.

NetCrunch's new release offers enhancements that simplify and extend the overall monitoring, alerting and graphical analysis capabilities and extend the program's responsiveness. Technology improvements to the program include:

- Monitoring Optimization Wizard for a more prioritized and less resource-intensive monitoring

- SNMP View Editor for enhanced graphical analysis of SNMP performance data

- Device List Editor (Ability to define/modify list of devices recognized by NetCrunch to render a more accurate representation of the network)

- Optimized Windows services monitoring

- Enhanced responsiveness of Event Database

With the all-new SNMP View Editor, users will be able to fully customize the way SNMP performance is displayed. On the other hand, the Monitoring Optimization Wizard provides a quick way to narrow down NetCrunch's monitoring only to selected nodes that are critical to their overall monitoring strategy.

Tomasz Kunicki, AdRem's founder and President, said, "Version 3.1 builds on the success of NetCrunch 3.0 that quickly emerged as one of the leaders in integrated network management solutions for SMBs. This minor release is our prompt response to the generous feedback from our customers. It will allow them to prioritize their management environments by directing their resources at what matters most."
