Software leverages weld controller monitoring capabilities.

Press Release Summary:

WeldWorks Software Suite(TM) v1.5 offers integrated statistical functions to create grouped and non-grouped box-plots for visual interpretation of weld data. Manufacturers can upload variable test data directly into WeldWorks database, allowing them to correlate production weld data with either destructive or non-destructive data. Web-based weld management software suite can also leverage modern weld controllers to capture complete picture of resistance weld process.

Original Press Release:

WeldWorks Software Leverages Weld Controller Monitoring Capabilities

techMatrix, LLC of Minneapolis, MN today announced that their web based weld management software suite has been upgraded to version 1.5. The WeldWorks Software SuiteTM now includes integrated statistical functions to easily create grouped and non-grouped box-plots for quick visual interpretation of weld data. In addition, manufacturers can now upload variable test data - like that from pull or peel testing - directly into the WeldWorks database. This allows them to correlate production weld data with either destructive or non-destructive data.

Manufacturers that own modern weld controllers can now capture a complete picture of their resistance weld process using WeldWorks Software without any additional hardware monitoring equipment. WeldWorks simply leverages the controller's already built-in monitoring features. A software based approach provides a more flexible and much less expensive solution to managing the weld process than stand-alone weld monitors. Plus, WeldWorks' service oriented architecture (SOA) makes it straightforward to integrate weld process information into a company's SPC or MES system.
