GE Energy Announces Release of CABA(TM) WIN R02A Circuit Breaker Testing Software



ATLANTA, GA.-November 19, 2004-GE Energy has announced the availability of the latest version of its Programma® Computer-aided Breaker Analysis (CABA) program, CABA(TM) Win R02A, for breaker testing. The new product replaces CABA Win version RO1C, SP2.

The CABA Win software program includes a variety of new features focused on reducing testing time and optimizing set-up, analysis, reporting, and storing test results.

It can be used with Programma breaker analyzers TM1800(TM), TM1600(TM)/MA61(TM) and EGIL(TM). It organizes all the test tasks and ensures that measurements are conducted in the same way for each object being tested. CABA Win saves the results and then generates a report.

In the analysis section, the user can work with a number of graphic windows, compare different measurements by overlaying one graph on another in the same display, and use cursors and powerful zoom functions for detailed analysis. CABA Win simplifies testing and ensures the quality of the test procedure.

Other key features of the new product include a new and improved interface, Microsoft® Word® report generator, the ability to export to Microsoft Excel, RTF file support in notebooks for breakers and tests, improved breaker list, extended speed calculation functionality (including percentage of stroke and angle), improved graphical presentation tools and improved zoom function.
