Newest Applied Stats Software Includes MPACT Interface
PLYMOUTH, MN, May 15, 2003 - ASI DataMyte, Inc. announces the release of Applied Stats(TM) software Version 4.6, now with a direct interface to ASI DataMyte MPACT(TM) (Manufacturing Planning and Control Tool) software.
The interface consists of options in Applied Stats to import or update characteristics in an Applied Stats data file from an ASCII text file generated by the MPACT software. Characteristic setups (e.g., name, target, specification limits) may be imported from the MPACT database into Applied Stats. When the setup information is changed in MPACT, the Applied Stats characteristics can now be updated as well.
An SPC export function in MPACT eliminates duplicate data entry between the advanced planning tool and Applied Stats software. The export function also helps maintain consistency between the MPACT and Applied Stats data.
This latest version of Applied Stats software includes expanded database functionality. The software now uses an updated schema and upgrade scripts are available. Database support was added for Applied Stats Events and chart types such as Net Weight, EWMA and Three-way. Characteristics and Header field lengths are now consistent between the Applied Stats application and its database.
Applied Stats software is compatible with Microsoft® Windows(TM) 98 SE, Windows NT 4.0 SP6, Windows 2000 Professional SP3, and Windows XP.
