(NYSE:TEK), a leading worldwide provider of network management and diagnostics products, announced a major enhancement to its Unified Assurance solution to include UTRAN for end-to-end UMTS management. The Unified Assurance offering from Tektronix is the established industry leader for managing GPRS and UMTS networks, and is in operation in major mobile networks throughout the world. Adding real-time UTRAN management enables carriers to troubleshoot, quickly launch and continuously monitor broadband services across mobile access, mobile core and IP networks using one integrated solution.
Unlike current offerings in the market that integrate several disjointed products, Unified Assurance provides seamless management of the entire network, the services offered on the network and the customers using those services through a single carrier user interface.
