Campus Management Launches CampusLink eLearning
Solution accommodates seamless administration of online courses, programs and students
BOCA RATON, Fla., April 5 /- Campus Management Corporation today announced the release of CampusLink(TM) eLearning. CampusLink is a family of application programming interfaces (APIs) central to Campus Management's adoption of a Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) that helps simplify an institution's development and integration of 3rd-party applications.
CampusLink eLearning facilitates a near real time integration between Campus Management's CampusVue(TM) student information system and any course management or learning management system such as eCollege, Blackboard, WebCT, Desire2Learn and open source solutions. Once implemented, institutions will be able to centrally manage data and processes associated with online courses, programs and students. The linkages between these systems will serve to eliminate data and task duplication, resulting in more efficient online operations.
With CampusLink eLearning, clients will be able to centralize the following business processes:
o Course schedule creation and updates.
o Student record creation and updates
o Student class registrations and drops.
o Grade posting and gradebook management.
o Attendance posting.
CampusLink eLearning complements existing CampusVue and CampusPortal(TM) features aimed at addressing the challenges of online educational models.
CampusLink APIs allow customers to integrate any .NET, Java or other web service accessible application with their CampusVue administrative software, and build new online services which are tightly integrated to the core institutional systems. CampusLink extends CampusVue's administrative system functionality for traditional, non-traditional and online education programs.
