ISG Group Announces ISGweb Version 2.0; Adds Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007

ISGweb 2.0 moves to Software as a Service (SaaS) model, subscription-based pricing

ROCKVILLE, Md., June 12 /- ISG Group announced version 2.0 of ISGweb, a software suite of data-driven web modules that provides associations with an intuitive solution for members' interactive online activities, from e-commerce to collaboration, all powered by real-time integration to the association's membership database. Version 2.0 introduces two major changes for ISGweb:

-- Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 is now available as part of ISGweb. Associations can now take full advantage of the document management, search, and content management features offered by SharePoint 2007 to enhance their information sharing and collaborative projects with staff, members, volunteers and partners. Associations can choose to use either the Standard or Enterprise Edition, depending on the level of integration they need with their association management software.

-- ISGweb is now delivered in a hosted model over the Internet instead of being installed on a client's internal network. With this move to Software as a Service (SaaS), ISGweb will be priced on a subscription basis, with a low monthly fee for each module based on the number of users.

"The association community is very excited about the Web 2.0 capabilities SharePoint makes available to them," said Charles Oakley, CEO of ISG Group. "But until now the high cost of purchasing SharePoint has been a barrier. ISG's unique offering gives associations integration between SharePoint and their member database while also making SharePoint available at an unbeatable low monthly price."

ISG is also developing Collaboration Portal, a new ISGweb module built on Microsoft SharePoint Server 2007 Enterprise Edition. The Collaboration Portal is a fully configured productivity center where each workgroup in the association can communicate, share resources, and collaborate on projects within its own private website. The setup and features of these workspaces are directly integrated with the applicable profiles, groups, and events in the association's member database, so site management is easy, calendars are group-specific and accurate, and proper security can be maintained automatically.

ISG Group offers an array of specialized workspaces to plug into the Collaboration Portal, each customized to add features that are valued by a different type of collaboration group, including committees, SIGs, the board, chapters, meeting attendees, meeting planners, speakers, and advocacy groups.

By adding SharePoint integration to the ISGweb suite of modules, ISG is strengthening its already powerful set of community and collaboration capabilities. The three foundation modules are required: Unified Login & Create Account, Update Profile, and Administrator. The other modules can be subscribed to individually: SharePoint Server 2007 (either Standard or Enterprise Edition), Collaboration Portal, Communities, Membership Directory, Leadership Directory, Buyers Guide, Find a Professional, Company Management, Membership Application, Dues Renewal, Events Calendar, Meeting Setup & Registration, Product Catalog, and Donations.

Pricing and Availability
ISGweb 2.0 is scheduled for release in the third quarter. Clients that want to add SharePoint Server 2007 may choose either the Standard Edition or Enterprise Edition at different price points. The Collaboration Portal, with the first group of customized workspaces, will be available in the fourth quarter of 2007. Other workspaces will be introduced on a quarterly basis.

Subscription pricing for all modules is effective now for new clients, with monthly charges based on the number of users and the modules used. Implementation costs are billed separately, at a flat rate per module.
