N. Billerica, MA (February 20, 2004) - New ThermaCAM® Reporter 7(TM) report generating software takes the pain out of generating infrared reports. There's never been a more powerful, easier to use report generating tool.
Reporter 7 seamlessly integrates with Microsoft Word - the industry standard word processing platform. The user can check spelling and access the familiar formatting and template tools and other powerful Word features.
In an easy, step-by-step process, the ThermaCAM Reporter 7 Report Wizard guides the user through the process of adding images and text, automatically integrating them into a custom
template, making the report creation process simple and fast. If the user is interrupted before the report is completed the incomplete report can be saved and completed later. The resulting professional inspection reports clearly communicate critical details needed to make cost-effective decisions.
Alternatively, the Rapid Report Manager feature enables users to create desktop icons based on predefined report templates. To create infrared inspection reports in a single step, the user
simply drags image files onto the Rapid Report Manager(TM) icon on the desktop and a report is immediately generated.
Reporter 7 automatically associates IR and visual images, provides powerful temperature analysis with easy-to-use programming, and supports multiple IR image formats, including the ThermaCAM(TM) .jpg and .img image formats used with FLIR and Agema infrared cameras, the ThermaCAM(TM) .tif image format used with the Inframetrics ThermaCAM(TM) and 700 Series infrared cameras, and the ThermoTeknix .tgw, .tmw, and .tlw formats created by Thermonitor and Thermagram imaging software.
Reporter 7 includes numerous advanced features, including: digital zoom, color palette changes, and automatic conversion of any report to Adobe .pdf format. Users can play back voice
comments recorded in the field on some cameras, such as the FLIR ThermaCAM P60. The user can automate calculations with the powerful automatic formula tool and the time-saving one-click
AT function. A report summary, essentially an executive summary, can be created instantly with the time-saving Summary Table tool. Powerful histogram and line profile graph features facilitate more advanced analysis. Users can even play back sequence files created by the S60 and P60 cameras and ThermaCAM Researcher Professional software right in the report.
