Software facilitates RF EMC testing.

Press Release Summary:

Supporting IEC 61000-4-3 field uniformity calibration requirements, Compliance 3 v4.0 offers emission and immunity testing solution. Automated process helps users verify that power amplifier is operating in its linear region at calibrated level, and harmonics in field are at least 6 dB below fundamental. Open architecture enables users to incorporate hardware configurations, define custom test sequences, write device drivers for instruments, and create report formats.

Improvements in Compliance 3 Software from Teseq Meet Latest Calibration Requirements and Provide Portable Software Key

EDISON, N.J., April 2007 - Teseq Inc., a leading developer and provider of instrumentation and test systems for EMC emission and immunity, has released version 4.0 of its Compliance 3 emission and immunity test software. The updated version provides enhancements that fully support IEC 61000-4-3 field uniformity calibration requirements. Teseq has also made software installation more convenient and flexible with a portable software key.

Compliance 3 has been updated to ensure compliance with the recent changes made in the IEC 61000-4-3 field uniformity calibration process. Because the new process requires that calibrations be performed at 1.8 times the regular field strength, Compliance 3 makes necessary adjustments to the signal generator levels during testing. An automated process helps the user to quickly and easily verify that the power amplifier is operating in its linear region at the calibrated level, and that the harmonics "in the field" are at least 6dB below the fundamental.

Teseq has also made Compliance 3 distribution and installation more flexible by offering an optional USB dongle with a software activation key. With a single software license, users can now install Compliance 3 on any number of PCs that may be used for testing. When a certain PC is required for testing, the Compliance 3 software can be activated by simply plugging the dongle into any USB port on that PC.

Teseq's Compliance 3 is the leading software for RF EMC testing. It is used in many test laboratories worldwide to deliver accurate, repeatable and traceable results in commercial, military, automotive and medical tests. In addition, Compliance 3's open architecture and flexible design make it highly customizable, enabling users to incorporate complex hardware configurations, define custom test sequences, write device drivers for virtually any instrument and create unique report formats.

The update for Compliance 3 version 4.0 will be available on the company's web site in April. A software maintenance agreement will be required to activate the upgraded software. For more information about the latest version and the USB dongle, please contact USAsales@teseq.com.
