visionapp Remote Desktop 2008 Builds its Lead with Enhanced Functionality
AUBURN, Calif., April 15 - visionapp, the innovative leaders in application delivery management, today announced the availability of visionapp Remote Desktop 2008 (vRD 2008). A tool for managing and accessing multiple Windows servers and desktops over RDP, vRD 2008 offers administrators simplified ways to manage and save server settings.
Older versions of vRD are already used by more than 75,000 users worldwide. vRD 2008 builds on the industry-leading feature set with accelerated remote desktop access to servers and workstations, detailed logging features, and a new interface that allows admins to view all connected machines simultaneously. With significantly more features than the freeware version, vRD 2008 has previewed to high acclaim in the Windows administrator community.
visionapp engineers spent months gathering customer feedback on the freeware product to build vRD 2008. New features include a Windows-Explorer-style tree structure that allows for quick creation of groups, a tabbed display, and the ability to define individual filing systems.
