Jerand Releases Opti*Pro for Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire
INDIANAPOLIS, IN - March 18, 2003 - Jerand Technical Services, Inc. announced today that it has released Opti*Pro version 4.0 for Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire. Opti*Pro allows Pro/ENGINEER users to export sheet metal part models to Optimation's family of CAM software products for sheet and plate manufacturing.
"We believe Opti*Pro for Wildfire will enable users to maximize productivity by pairing Pro/ENGINEER's advanced design capabilities wit Optimation's computer aided manufacturing tools," said Bob Monat, president of Jerand.
Opti*Pro includes Opti*Pro/Part, for single sheet metal parts, and Opti*Pro/Assembly, for assemblies containing sheet metal parts. The Opti*Pro user interface now implements the Wildfire look and feel. Configuration options specify the part orientation, flat pattern definition, layer definitions, pre-programmed input, and how assembly components are selected.
