SofTechnics Releases SoftGrocer Version 1.0.18
AKRON, Ohio, Feb. 9 -- SofTechnics, a leading provider of integrated retail enterprise software solutions, announced today the release of SoftGrocer v1.0.18 - SofTechnics' new store item and inventory management solution. Since becoming generally available in the Fall of 2004, SoftGrocer is currently in various stages of implementation in five chains representing over 700 stores. SoftGrocer includes the "best practice" features and functions from its predecessors, ChainTrack and CT2020, but also includes many new features, including a graphical user interface, a multi-store centralized database, and multiple deployment options.
SoftGrocer is a GTIN compliant, full-featured price and inventory management solution with flexibility that allows you to implement and maintain data and systems where you want. No longer will software dictate where you locate store data within your organization. SoftGrocer can be deployed in either a "thick" model where the data resides in each store on the ISP or in a "thin" model where all data is centralized at regional or corporate data centers. In addition, because SoftGrocer is a web-based application, screens are presented to your users in the well-known user interface of Internet Explorer or Netscape. SoftGrocer also gives you the ability to design the application screens, choosing which data fields are displayed, allowing you to customize the application to meet your specific work flow needs.
