Krautkramer Ultrasonic Systems announces the availability of a Software Development Kit (SDK) designed to greatly reduce the labor and cost of integrating 3rd party software programs with Krautkramer instrument data recorders. The SDK is a complete documentation kit including example code and instrument drivers that reduce the implementation costs by up to 90%.

The SDK design uses specific instrument drivers that provide a uniform data configuration to the application software interface. This uniform data interface provides common data structure to all Krautkramer instrument data recorders and data loggers giving integrators compatibility to all current and future Krautkramer devices.

The Krautkramer instrument drivers control all communication with comm port selection and baud rate configuration. The "Auto-Connect" feature eliminates the need to manually match baud rate settings between the instrument and computer and provides data transfer rates of up to 115K baud on supporting devices.
