Overview
ENOVIA LifeCycle Applications (LCA) V5.12 provides improved performance and interoperability in a number of areas.
ENOVIAVPM1 now supports:
o Batch and/or delayed transfer between multiple sites
o New interoperability with SAP with improved mapping, event-driven push, change bill-of-material (BOM) management, and process rules implementation
o SMARTEAM briefcase exchanges under action control, enabling exchange of new and/or modified parts and documents with revisions
V5 VPM offers the following new capabilities:
o Improved change recording and better management for change cancellation
o Robust clash management application supporting product structures with subassemblies stored in mixed (WorkPackage/explode) modes
o Support for catalog of features and CATIA Equipment and System data (piping, tubing, electrical wire routing, structure design)
o Further improvement in systems performance with fetched queries and CATIA advanced geometry loading technique
IP2 LifeCycle & Management is enhanced in the area of enterprise workflow with a more intelligent workflow engine. It now supports rules-based activity generation as well as late sub-process definition to benefit customers with long-running processes.
LCA server will now be supported on the Windows(TM) operating system.
Two products have been renamed in V5.12:
o EBOM3 Product Definition and Configuration product has been renamed Product Definition.
o EBOM Part and Assembly Detailing product has been renamed EBOM Detailing and Configuration.

Features applications that extend and supplement the best practices available in ENOVIAVPM and ENOVIAPM product families. Built on the V5 enterprise architecture, it includes the enterprise PPR hub. This takes advantage of experience acquired building CATIA, DELMIA, ENOVIAVPM, and ENOVIAPM.
Delivers six role-based standard configurations and numerous shareable products for program management, document management, engineering, manufacturing engineering, and supply chain support.
Withdrawn product: The ENOVIA - PPR Hub DO Adapter Product (5691-DOH) is withdrawn from marketing.
