A modular software package designed specifically for high-speed sortation applications, the BOSS Sorter Control Module can handle sorter speeds of up to 600 feet per minute (fpm) and more than 200 cartons per minute (cpm).
Built on FKI Logistex Buschman BOSS controls system architecture, the Sorter Control Module is a full-featured sortation control solution that combines advanced conveyor and sortation controls, system diagnostics, real-time data collection, and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) in a single integrated software unit. Like BOSS, once installed on a central control PC, workstation PCs can be networked into the module, providing access from multiple locations within the system. The software supports TCP/IP message exchanges (sockets), FTP file transfers, RS232/422 serial, and PLC data highway type interfaces. In addition, it allows for remote troubleshooting via dial-up modem or the user's existing Virtual Private Network (VPN), giving system operators access to all screens and diagnostic information by simply logging onto their network.
