Trend Micro(TM) Advances NeatSuite(TM) Security Suites with Newly Enhanced Central Management Capabilities
Trend Micro Control Manager(TM) 5.0, a unique Web-based, multi-tier management console, offers increased flexibility, ease-of-use and customization.
CUPERTINO, Calif., March 17 - Trend Micro Incorporated, a global leader in Internet content security, has extended its Web-based central management console, Trend Micro Control Manager, with enhancements that let the company's NeatSuite security suites become even more effective in delivering multi-layered, multi-threat protection against an intensive backdrop of cyber gangs and Web attacks. These enhancements are found in Trend Micro Control Manager 5.0.
With version 5.0, customers of both NeatSuite Standard (for mid-size companies) and NeatSuite Advanced (for large enterprise organizations) will have simplified administration, enhanced security, improved scalability and reduced desk-side visits, meaning less work for IT staff. Trend Micro Control Manager allows customers to:
- Simplify administration through a proven Web-based console and an integrated agent. This agent-less management model eliminates the need for agent version upgrades, reducing desk-side visits for IT staff.
- Receive enhanced security through role-based user access control, single sign-on and automated license management across all security products.
- Gain improved scalability through a multi-tier management model that decentralizes control to the regional IT staff while offering centralized management from headquarters.
