New Solution Saves Money, Energy and the Environment by Automatically Enforcing Power Management Policies
ROCKVILLE, Md., Aug. 19 -- Triumfant(R), the industry leader in proactive monitoring and control software, today announced the Triumfant Green IT Power Management(TM) Option Pack to help organizations save energy costs and the environment. The Green IT Option Pack extends the capabilities of the company's award-winning Triumfant Resolution Manager(TM) solution that automatically identifies and fixes unwanted changes in desktops, laptops and servers before they create security and compliance risks, become service desk calls and adversely impact user productivity.
The Triumfant Green IT Power Management Option Pack reduces computer power consumption without impacting computer use or administration. Based on an organization's energy management policies, the solution automatically detects when a PC is out of compliance and automatically adjusts it to the correct power configuration settings, saving significant amounts on electrical and cooling bills. Users no longer need to keep their computers on at all times so that IT departments can conduct maintenance during off-hours, and IT administrators can easily maintain optimal settings across the IT environment.
