Unanet Announces Release 5.4 !
Fairfax, Virginia, October 7, 2003 - Unanet Technologies, an enterprise services software company, announces Release 5.4 for production availability. Unanet provides easy to use, scalable, and affordable software for resource management, project/opportunity management, timesheets, expense reports and workforce collaboration. Unanet has over 225 customers including government contractors, internal IT (Information Technology) organizations, consulting companies and high-technology product companies.
Unanet 5.4 raises the level of project control, communication and reporting, and provides additional security. In addition to date range controls at the person level, the project manager can optionally use the date ranges at the project and task levels to control the charging of time and expenses. Project managers can export as well as import tasks, project labor categories, and assignments. Users can receive notification by email for new and/or changed assignments. Administrators can set new password options including password expiration and other security characteristics.
Accounts Payable managers can use the new Post Date option during the expense extract process. All users with the appropriate security can access reports using the new Post Date value. Two new built-in government per diem wizards calculate and display allowable vs. unallowable amounts.
With additional options for the Unanet Resource Management reports, managers can better plan, report, control and reconcile planned (forecasted) work to budgeted (assigned) work. Users can see their planned as well as assigned work schedules.
