Prelude 1.2 consists of the addition of a new module, Questionnaire Manager, which will give users the ability to configure new health history questions and forms. This revision also enhances the donor registration procedure by permitting a repeat donor the ability to self register at a kiosk with the swipe/scan of a donor card. In addition, an automated installation and upgrade tool was added.

Prelude is designed to automate and manage the blood donation process. It contains a Self-Administered Donor Interview which guides the donor through the health history process. In addition, Prelude gives remote mobile blood drives the same functions as fixed sites and synchronizes information with the main server.

Prelude is the first module launched in IDM's next generation Symphony Suite of products.
