Original Press Release:

Sauer-Danfoss Accelerates OEM Product Development

PLUS+1(TM) Compliance takes the pressure off design engineers working with ever-smaller budgets and shorter deadlines.

Developing integrated systems for intelligent, high performing machines is faster and easier with PLUS+1(TM) Compliance from Sauer-Danfoss.

A broad range of PLUS+1 Compliant components is now available for work, propel and
control functions in mobile off-road machinery. The components, including pumps, motors, valves, joysticks, and graphical display terminals, are all engineered for electronic interface.

Used in tandem with the PLUS+1 GUIDE programming environment, each component is sure
to cut product development costs and time to market.

Qualified solutions
Programming with PLUS+1 technology could not be simpler. Using PLUS+1 GUIDE,
machine programmers just drag the components' software icons from the library, drop them on the computer screen workspace and connect them together. Hundreds of hours of
programming and testing are at the programmer's disposal in seconds. Common interfaces
between software blocks allow for easy program alterations without having to start again from scratch.

The user manual and technical notes that accompany all PLUS+1 Compliant components
provide a step-by-step guide to physically wiring the components up to a microcontroller. At machine startup, operating parameters are already set to provide optimal performance, ensuring the shortest possible validation process. Sophisticated, new mobile machinery is on the market in next to no time.

Smooth, responsive controls
PLUS+1 Compliant components maximize machine productivity and minimize operator
fatigue by creating a smooth, highly responsive control system. Because the software blocks specific to each component are fully tested and optimized, the need for fine-tuning is drastically reduced.

Sauer-Danfoss established PLUS+1 Compliance as a company-wide focus, following the
successful 2004 launch of the initial PLUS+1 toolbox that was comprised of microcontrollers, I/O modules, graphical terminals and joysticks. Since then, the PLUS+1 GUIDE library has gained a growing number of software blocks for additional components that have passed the meticulous PLUS+1 Compliance test.
