SK Telecom's Selection Validates SoftMax's Leadership in Noise-Cancellation Technology and Its Importance in Mobile Devices
SAN DIEGO, May 2 -- SoftMax Inc. the market leader in noise reduction for mobile devices and SK Telecom, one of the world's largest operators of cellular networks in Korea and internationally, today announced a strategic cooperation to bring SoftMax's 1VOICE Noise Reduction technology to handsets, Bluetooth headsets and other accessories in SK Telecom networks around the world.

SoftMax's technology is based on its proprietary signal separation platform, using sophisticated adaptive statistical techniques to separate voice signals from background noises making it very effective against all types of noise including stationary, such as road noise, or non-stationary like music or other human voices.
