Neudesic Pulse 2.1 Expands Power of Social Collaboration Through Integration with Unified Communications Systems

New release enables one-click escalation of conversations to IM and voice from the context of any application

IRVINE, Calif. -- The latest version of Neudesic Pulse, the innovative social collaboration software from Microsoft National Systems Integrator and Gold ISV Partner Neudesic, features on-premise and cloud offerings that enable out-of-the-box integration with unified communications platforms, including Microsoft Lync.

Pulse 2.1 uses open SIP standards and integrates with UC systems to further Neudesic's vision of creating a social fabric for the enterprise by facilitating easy escalation of social conversations to instant messaging and voice, regardless of the applications in which those conversations originate. UC system integration gives Pulse additional out-of-the-box integration points, which already include SharePoint, CRM, Office 365 and Exchange, as well as any business system.

"Neudesic Pulse delivers maximum flexibility to our customers and allows social conversations to occur in the context of applications used by enterprise employees," said Neudesic CEO Parsa Rohani.

The ease by which Pulse integrates with other enterprise platforms and applications sets it apart in the marketplace for social collaboration software. Now companies seeking to establish a social fabric across the enterprise, whether in the cloud or through on-premise deployment, can benefit from Pulse 2.1's UC integration, as well as all the powerful collaboration features Pulse already offers.

"Many of our customers have made investments in unified communications platforms like Lync and want to unlock scenarios that are relevant to their business objectives," said Ramin Vosough, general manager of Neudesic's product team. "For example, users can now follow a document or any artifact in SharePoint via Pulse and be alerted to changes, add comments relevant to it in CRM, and at any time, escalate it to a Lync session."

Neudesic Pulse 2.1 will be on display at Enterprise 2.0 in Santa Clara, Calif. Nov. 14-17. Vosough will be a featured panelist during the conference session Socializing Legacy Applications: Are We There Yet? on Tuesday at 3:45 pm.

The UC integration capability of Pulse 2.1 further demonstrates Neudesic's position as a leader in social collaboration software by creating real-time open knowledge sharing to foster innovation, increase productivity, and make businesses more social and competitive.
