snom Announces Compatibility with Third Lane PBX Manager

Both Companies' Products Available Through ABP Technology for One-Stop VoIP System Shopping

BERLIN, GERMANY, San Francisco and Dallas - July 23, 2007 - snom technology AG, developer and manufacturer of Voice-over-IP (VoIP) telephones, today announced that its phones are supported by Third Lane Technologies' PBX Manager, software developed for Asterisk® or Asterisk Business Edition(TM). As a distributor for both snom and Third Lane, ABP Technology offers customers one-stop shopping for a complete, user-friendly VoIP telephony system.

"Our goal is to make VoIP telephony implementations - regardless of size - as easy as possible for solution providers and end users," said Alex Epshteyn, president of Third Lane Technologies. "Given the highly configurable, SIP-based nature and various applications available through snom's phones, they are an ideal match for our PBX Manager. With Third Lane and snom both targeting markets worldwide, this as a great opportunity to open new doors for us while aiding in snom's expansion efforts as well."

PBX Manager provides a Web management interface for Asterisk that greatly reduces the time and effort required to configure and manage Asterisk-based PBXs. While providing a simple interface for the day-to-day PBX management, this software does not limit users in implementing of custom features and advanced customizations. PBX Manager eases phone configuration through its template-based format - allowing solution providers and end users to develop one file that can be used in company-wide configurations rather than having to manually configure each phone individually.

"snom has always believed the customer has the right to choose which products and services will best fit their specific needs; that's why we have been focusing so heavily on certified interoperability across all VoIP system components in recent months," said Michael Knieling, CFO and executive vice president of marketing and sales for snom. "With Third Lane's PBX Manager now supporting our phones, snom's phones have become an even more attractive choice than they were before."

All snom VoIP telephones, including the 300, 320, 360 and 370, are highly configurable and easy to manage through the keypad-cursor, dedicated function keys and menus, or Web browser, and offer user-friendly features like full-programmable keys and downloadable ringtones. snom phones offer a complete implementation of the IETF's latest recommendations for standards-based authentication and content security (SIP(s)/sRTP).

"We take pride in the fact that, when customers come to us, they have their choice of the highest quality products available on the market," said Robert Messer, president of ABP Technology. "We have been a distributor for snom for six years now and just signed an agreement with Third Lane earlier this month. VoIP is the biggest killer application out there, and snom and Third Lane have both been actively pursuing verified compatibility with complementary players in the industry. Both companies are well-positioned to strengthen their traction worldwide."

snom and Third Lane will be exhibiting at ABP Technology's reseller conference, IP Sizzles 2007 in Dallas, July 23-26. Additional information on IP Sizzles can be found at www.abptech.com/ipsizzles2007.
