Simple Wire Connectors for Environmentally Exposed Applications

HARRISBURG, Pa. - Tyco Electronics has expanded its growing family of water-resistant splices, taps, and connectors with new silicone-filled wire connectors. The innovative SNAP-N-LOK wire connectors contain a silicone sealant that protects against moisture and corrosion. The no-twist wire connectors provide a unique and secure wire connection with unmatched strain relief to prevent the connector from backing off or vibrating loose.

Tyco Electronics' SNAP-N-LOK wire connectors are designed for extreme environments where a sealed and protected connection is required. Applications include outdoor lighting and signage, traffic control systems, filters and pumps, valve controls, industrial processing, security systems, and tracer lines.

The complete SNAP-N-LOK line handles 20 to 10 AWG solid or stranded copper wire. The UL Listed connectors are suited to indoor/outdoor, direct burial, and submersible applications.
