Omron's D3V Snap-Action Switches Offer An Expanded Range Of Current Ratings Using The Same Form
SCHAUMBURG, IL (October 2, 2003)-Omron's highly reliable D3V miniature snap-action switches are now available in an expanded range of contact ratings: 0.1A, 6A, 11A, 16A and 21A. A 25A-rated switch will be available by year's end. All ratings use the same physical form, offering customers greater design efficiency as well as performance reliability.
The lower current ratings are made possible by the incorporation of self-cleaning wiping contacts, which also ensure longer switch working life for the entire D3V family. All D3Vs are available with either internal or external levers and a choice of terminal options suitable for the rating and the application.
Omron D3V miniature switches are ideal for use in a wide range of applications, from home appliances and office equipment to HVAC systems and vending machines.
D3V switches rated through 21A are currently available from stock; the 25A switch will be available at year end.
