Smurfit-Stone's Ensulate® and Meta Tray-8® Featured at PMA Fresh Summit, October 15-18 in Orlando


CREVE COEUR, Mo. and CHICAGO -- Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation, one of the industry's leading containerboard and corrugated packaging producers, will introduce two products that deliver exceptional produce protection at the Produce Marketing Association (PMA) Fresh Summit Expo, October 15-18 at the Orlando County Convention Center.

Ensulate® is Smurfit-Stone's new proprietary wax replacement containerboard specially formulated to protect products packed or distributed in wet or cold-humid environments. Ensulate® is designed to meet particular produce applications and performance ranges and is certified recyclable by the Fibre Box Association.

Smurfit-Stone's Meta Tray-8® is an eight-corner tray that outperforms any other tray in the produce market. The Meta Tray-8® can be run with or without flaps and sets new standards in strength, sustainability and efficiency on the packing line. The result is a stackable eight-sided tray that increases case performance, graphic appeal and is fully recyclable.
