TDD Series jumper switches are sealed for surface-mount reflow soldering, washing
NEWTON, MA -- C&K Components, a leading international supplier of tact switches, toggle and rocker switches, and smart card interconnect devices, has developed a series of surface mount jumper DIP switches that are sealed with a removable top tape to enable them to be used in reflow soldering and washable assembly processes.
The TDD Series DIP switches are RoHS-compliant SPDT (single-pole, double-throw) jumpers designed for surface mount PCB soldering, and feature a unique bifurcated contact design that increases electrical reliability. Contacts are constructed from copper alloy with gold plate over nickel plate, and are rated for 25mA @ 24VDC (switching) and 100mA @ 50VDC (steady state), with an operating force of 4.9N (max) and an operational life of 200 cycles. Operating temperature range is -30 degreesC to 85degreesC.
