SMT Chip Inductors measure 0.5 x 0.25 x 0.25 mm.

Press Release Summary:

GLTZ Series epoxy encapsulated inductors are made by laser-cutting helix in copper deposited on alumina core. Series includes 17 models with inductance range of 1.0 to 22 nH. Sandard tolerance on inductance is ±5% (±0.3 nH for inductances less than 6.8 nH). Terminals are nickel plated with solder coat. Series features high Q at microwave frequencies and high self resonant frequencies (up to 20 GHz).

Smallest Surface Mount Chip Inductors Added to Sprague-Goodman's SURFCOIL® Line

Westbury, NY. Sprague-Goodman's SURFCOIL® product line has been expanded to include a new series of extremely small SMT chip inductors.

Designated the GLTZ Series, these epoxy encapsulated inductors measure only 0.5 mm x 0.25 mm x 0.25 mm (0201 size). They are made by laser-cutting a helix in copper deposited on an alumina core. The terminals are nickel plated with a solder coat.

The GLTZ Series covers an inductance range of 1.0 nH to 22 nH in 17 models. The standard tolerance on inductance is ± 5% (± 0.3 nH for inductances less than 6.8 nH). The series features high Q at microwave frequencies, and high self resonant frequencies (up to 20 GHz).

GLTZ inductors are priced at $0.092 each for 15,000 pieces, the quantity contained in one 18 cm (7 inch) reel. Parts are also supplied in bulk. Lead time for delivery is 10 weeks.
