Smartsheet.com Expands Use of Amazon Web Services for Growing Customer Base
BELLEVUE, Wash., March 22 // -- Smartsheet.com, a leading provider of web-based task management solutions, today announced the general availability of Smartsheet.com version 2.0. In addition to thirty new features and improvements, the release extends to all free edition customers the contextual document management feature, which is powered by Amazon Web Services S3. Additionally, Smartsheet.com has initiated its use of the Amazon Mechanical Turk service to increase the relevance and scope of the Smartsheet.com Business Template library.
By using Amazon Mechanical Turk to query a vast workforce for template ideas and content, Smartsheet.com customers will be able to access industry- specific templates recommended by a variety of professionals in different fields. By extending the Amazon-powered document upload feature to free editions, all Smartsheet.com users will be able to experience the power, speed and reliability Amazon has to offer.

More than four thousand teams have registered for the Smartsheet.com service, with new registrations exceeding one thousand in February.
