VarTech's SuperCube fan-less rugged small form-factor (SFF) computer has been engineered without cooling fans and the rugged extruded heat-exchanger and aluminum enclosure acts as a heat-sink to dissipate internal heat and provide noise-free continuous operation.
Thanks to its advanced rugged design, compact dimensions (7.5" x 6.5" x 4.5"), and superior functionality the SuperCube is a breakthrough in micro computing technology. Offering several mounting options such as shock mounting or mobile mounting, this fan-less system is an excellent solution for demanding real-world environments such as Mobile Applications, Marine Navigation, Interactive Kiosks, Industrial Human/Machine Interface, Digital Signage, Embedded Control, and Thin-Clients applications.
The SuperCube is powered by an Intel Atom 1.6 GHz processor, a 160 GB 7200rpm hard disk drive and 1GB of DDR2 SDRAM SO-DIMM system memory. Its extensive array of input/output connections include: 6 USB ports, 5 serial ports, 2 Ethernet connections, a VGA connection, and a standard audio connections. The SuperCube comes with Windows XP Pro operating system and also offers Windows XP Embedded as an option.
