LMI Selcom offers the SLS 6000, a flexible and heavy-duty, high-speed, self-contained, non-contact laser-based dimensional industrial gauging sensor. It has a long stand-off distance and measurement range and a standard built-in integrated air purge system for operation in harsh and dirty environments. Features of the SLS 6000 sensor include a totally integrated sensor within the head and a built-in signal processor for data averaging and filtering. The SLS 6000 is also insensitive to light, surface texture or plant conditions and has sampling frequency of 16,000 times a second within a very defined spot using little power.
