Eskay's Compact Shoe Sorter Saves Floor Space, Ideal For Sorting Smaller, Lightweight Items
SALT LAKE CITY - Designed to sort the books, CDs, and other small items common in e-commerce operations, ESKAY's compact sliding shoe sorter offers a space-saving solution for sorting thousands of items. The compact shoe sorter is 10" narrower and with a much smaller footprint than conventional sorters, saving valuable floor space. In addition to sorting individual items, the compact shoe sorter can handle full-size cases or totes up to 110 lbs.
"The compact sliding shoe sorter is the ideal solution for operations where you need to sort both boxes and individual items," said ESKAY Vice President of Sales Jim Neuner. "In addition to its versatility, the shoe sorter requires far less floor space than the tilt-tray sorters commonly used for sorting smaller items."
Depending on the configuration, the compact sliding shoe sorter can sort 6,000-12,000 pieces per hour, supporting same-day shipping operations. Smooth sorting action prevents product
damage, while bi-directional shoes allow items to be off-loaded to both sides of the sorter, improving space efficiency and providing greater design flexibility. The compact shoe sorter is
also extremely quiet, operating at less than 65 dB.
