Press Release Summary:
Available in single-, double-, and triple-throw circuits, JS switches are offered in surface mount and through-hole configurations. Miniature slide switches have electrical rating of 0.3 A at 6 Vdc, with minimum electrical life of 10,000 cycles and actuator travel of 2 mm. Units can operate in temperature range from -10 to +60°C, and withstand shock/vibration of 10-55 Hz 1 min sweep. Devices feature silver contacts and IR re-flows to 260°C solder profile.

Cost-Effective Miniature Slide Switches Feature Very Low Profile
Single-, double- & triple-throw switches ideal for telecom, remote-control applications...
NEWTON, MA (October 10, 2007) - C&K Components, a leading international supplier of tact switches, toggle and rocker switches, and smart card interconnect devices, has developed a series of low-profile, cost-effective miniature slide switches. Designated the JS Slide Series, the switches are ideal for applications with limited PC board space and height restrictions, including mobile telecommunications, computers and remote control equipment.
One- or two-pole JS Slide Series miniature switches feature only 2mm (.079') high actuators (some models as low as 1mm), making them very easy to operate. Available in single-, double- and triple-throw circuits, the JS switches are offered in surface mount and through-hole configurations.
The highly reliable JS Series miniature slide switches are lead free and process compatible. Available only in maintained circuit configurations with right and center actuation options, the devices feature silver contacts and IR re-flows to 260°C solder profile.
Electrical rating is 0.3A at 6Vdc, with a minimum electrical life of 10,000 cycles and actuator travel of 2mm. Designed for an operating temperature range from -10 to +60°C, the JS Series slide switches can withstand a shock/vibration of 10Hz to 55Hz 1min sweep. The devices are available in tape and reel packaging.
