MTS Provides Slave LCD Interface Terminal to Monitor Liquid Level Data

CL01 Slave "listens" for level, interface and temperature measurements...

CARY, N.C. (October 5, 2004) - MTS Sensors Division announced the availability of a new Slave LCD operator interface terminal for use with its digital MG Series liquid level sensors. Designated the CL01 Slave LCD Interface Terminal, the device is a LCD readout screen with expanded keypad functionality. The CL01 provides at-a-glance level, temperature and interface measurements quickly and simultaneously from the MTS DDA interface.

"The CL01 is an ideal way to quickly monitor liquid level data on one screen," said Level Products Marketing Manager, Adrian Totten. "Because the device 'listens' for the appropriate tank level & temperature data, there is no need for extra programming of the 'master' device. Simply select the desired address and the CL01 Slave will display the data. The CL01 may be used at ground level, in the appropriate enclosure, to monitor one or more tanks remotely."

Standard features include a two line by twenty-character liquid crystal display with LED backlighting and selectable address keys for quick set-up.

The CL01 offers agency approvals for use in Class I, II and III/Division 2 hazardous locations with gas groups B(Hydrogen), C(Ethylene), D(Propane), F(Carbonaceous dusts) and G(Grain dusts).

The LCL01 is ideal for the petrochemical, propane, pharmaceutical, food & beverage and utility industries. Applications include tank-side indications, panel mount or use in NEMA enclosures.
