GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Skytron, a leading provider of advanced medical equipment, announced today that it has begun upgrading six of its customers to CenTrak's Clinical-Grade RTLS™. Skytron is replacing its legacy RTLS hardware, with a more accurate and flexible high performance real-time locating technology capable of addressing dozens of new applications. CenTrak's RTLS uses certainty-based technologies to determine asset utilization, enable staff locating initiatives that impact patient care and automate high acuity environments. Skytron started upgrading the facilities, covering 8 million square feet and 32,000 tags late last year. Skytron chose CenTrak's Clinical-Grade RTLS™, to ensure their customers have access to an infrastructure capable of enabling advanced location-based workflow applications.
