Skyera CEO Gives Keynote Address at Flash Memory Summit

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Dr. Radoslav Danilak, CEO and co-founder of Skyera Inc., founded by an executive and engineering team with unsurpassed backgrounds in the solid-state, storage and networking arenas, will give a keynote speech at the industry's most prestigious conference on flash memory technology, the Flash Memory Summit, August 13-15 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in California.

Danilak's keynote, "How Next-Generation Flash Will Change Enterprise Storage," will discuss how flash can be employed for broad, regular workloads in enterprises for faster, more efficient storage in today's cloud, virtualization and Big Data environments. He will address how flash storage solutions, which have long been considered too expensive, will be less expensive at the system level than HDD systems while minimizing operational costs, power consumption and floor space, for much better long-range value.

The company will also exhibit its Skyera skyHawk in booth 208, and four of the company's top technical and product executives will each give presentations during other panels and forums during the conference.

"The industry looks forward to Flash Memory Summit each year for the latest technology and market trends impacting consumer and enterprise use of flash," said Danilak. "I am eager to speak to this audience at a time when solid-state storage is impacting enterprise computing in ways that were unimaginable just a few years ago."

Danilak's keynote will take place Wednesday August 14 from 2:30-3:00 p.m.

Under Danilak's direction, Skyera has built an entirely new architecture from the ground up and received industry acclaim as a visionary and innovative product line and company. Skyera's disruptive system-level solid-state storage technology combines storage and networking to achieve greater speed, reliability and efficiency than both traditional and solid state solutions on the market today.

Danilak has filed more than 80 patents while architecting and designing state-of-the-art processing engines and has more than 20 years of experience in enterprise storage. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and his MS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Technical University of Kosice, Slovak Republic.

The Flash Memory Summit is the only conference dedicated entirely to flash memory and its applications. The Summit features half-day tutorials, workshops, paper and panel sessions, keynotes, roundtables, special sessions, and exhibits. Subjects include hardware, software, design methods, consumer applications, embedded applications, computer and communications applications, alternative technologies, programming methods, testing, standards, and market research.  Additional information about the event is available at http://www.flashmemorysummit.com.
