Pennsylvania Introduces Their High Performance Mountaineer(TM) Sizer for Coal Miners, Coal Prep Plants and Quarries

Broomall, PA (October 30, 2002): The new Mountaineer Sizer from Pennsylvania Crusher Corporation is a significant advance in sizer technology. It fully satisfies industry demands for reliably accurate sizing and extremely low fines, and it operates at low speeds which minimizes wear.

Built in the U.S., the Mountaineer Sizer stands as low as 40-inches high and is offered in various lengths. Horsepower requirements are minimal and the arrangement of teeth on the rolls will be configured to size the customer's material
most efficiently. Such patterns can include straight rows, spirals, herringbone, or other designs. Retractable steel wheels (not shown in photos) enable relocation of the machine for maintenance.

Simplified maintenance is another advantage. Construction of the Mountaineer Sizer is fully modular and, to protect the frame, the crushing chamber is fully lined with wear plates.

Pennsylvania Crusher produces more crusher models, in more sizes, than others. The firm has made numerous advancements in crusher technology that are now in widespread use. About two-thirds of the steam coal used in the US power generation industry is crushed using Pennsylvaniao equipment.
