LEONI Presents New Singlemode Switch at OFC 2014 in San Francisco
Introducing VIS and PM singlemode switches
Williamsburg, – LEONI, the leading manufacturer of optical technologies and cable systems for the automotive sector and other industries presents its complete FiberSwitch® product line at OFC in San Francisco, including an optimized version of the singlemode switch system.
LEONI will use OFC as an opportunity to showcase its NEW and improved singlemode switch for the complete Visible (VIS) wavelength range and Polarization maintaining (PM) applications. The improved Insertion Loss (IL) performance makes the system highly competitive and unique in the market place.
The switch design is based on a patented technology which combines micro-optics and micro-mechanic features. While the switch series is easy to integrate into existing systems, custom specific solutions can also be realized up to highly sophisticated systems. The FiberSwitch® series is designed for high performance applications in telecommunication systems, lab and test engineering, production- and process-control and life-science applications. Typical applications are high channel count optical monitoring, optical line testing, spectroscopy, laser scanning microscopy, optical coherence tomography (OCT), environment trace (gas) analysis and many more.
On top of its improved singlemode switch, LEONI will also be displaying Eol 1x100 IR, 6-channel-ROADM, Eol 1x32 IR 6-disc compact housing and Eol 6x(2x2) IR switches. LEONI will be located in booth #2414 at OFC 2014, 11 - 13 March at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA.
