XPiQ Announces 25 New 200W Modules for Synergy Modular Line
Anaheim, California - August 1, 2002
XPiQ has announced the introduction of 25 new single slot output modules for use in the Synergy MP modular power supply range.
The new line of output modules provide up to 200 watts of power in 25 different voltages from 2 volts to 60 volts, covering all the common voltages typically required by the EOEM industry. Other voltages are also available on request. The unique single PCB design uses a proprietary approach to thermal management, which enables the new output modules to provide 35% more current, in a single slot module that is the same size as the existing A modules. Up to 6 of these modules can be used in a single power platform, providing a wider range of voltages with high current outputs than previously available. The new 200W 'J' module provides fully isolated outputs, single wire current share, remote inhibit, remote sense, power valid, current limit, over-voltage and over-current protection.
Prototype quantities are available now and production quantities will be available in the 4th quarter.
