A. O. Smith Direct Replacement Motors for Liebert Air-Conditioning Units


Tipp City, Ohio - A. O. Smith Electrical Products Company will announce at the EASA convention, June 16 - 18, that it plans to start production of the new Liebert direct replacement motor, model C663.

This A. O. Smith motor, which goes into production June 17, is a direct replacement for Liebert model B-095D that is used in a wide variety of that company's condenser product line. The A. O. Smith model C663 motor also replaces Johnstone part number S89-084 and Emerson part number K63HXEF4-4599.

A. O. Smith's line of Liebert condenser replacement motors is suited for 208-230/460 volt, 1100-rpm applications at ¾ horsepower at 60 HZ. Moreover, the replacement motor is available for 50 HZ applications requiring a 190/380 volt, 925-rpm, replacement motor. These new A. O. Smith replacement motors for Liebert units are single-phase, contain a single shaft and are resilient mounted.

For added customer convenience, the new C663 motors will include a capacitor and rainshield for enhanced performance and to protect against rugged weather conditions.
