Siemens Expands Voltage Range of Sinamics V20 Inverter

• Single-phase line connection for 200 to 240 volts

The Sinamics V20 frequency converter from Siemens is now also available as a single-phase device for the voltage range 200 to 240 volts. Until now, it has been possible to deploy the compact drive in three-phase systems at 380 to 480 volts. The downward expansion of the voltage range makes the inverter suitable for further applications in environments where only a single-phase power connection is available and applications with low powers from 0.12kW.

The compact and rugged single-axis drive that Siemens Drive Technologies Division first presented at SPS IPC Drives 2012 is characterized by short commissioning times, cost efficiency, and simple operation. The Sinamics V20 covers a power range from 0.12 to 15 kW in four sizes. It can be deployed anywhere in the world for operating pumps, blowers, compressors, and conveyors as well as for simple drive tasks in the process and manufacturing industries.
